Hi Dr Andrew, hope you are well. What is the difference between Enlighten Whitening and Enlighten Evolution 3 Whitening? I know with Evolution 3 you get the in-surgery appointment on the 15th day, but does this really make a big difference to results generally, as there is a significant difference in price? And do teeth sometimes go whiter than a B1 shade? I’ve heard they can do depending on natural colour of teeth?

Hi. I have severe – and I mean severe – fluorosis which I find a liability on my social and economic life. What is the most affordable cosmetic treatment for dental fluorosis? I was born abroad in a Florine heavy part of Africa where almost everybody had the problem. All my teeth are discoloured (brown and dark brown). I am not looking for an expensive cosmetic solution, what I need is a less invasive and affordable solution. Thank you.
Hello! Just a quick question about 2 tooth whitening systems. Now my dentist is about to whiten my teeth, and he uses the Philips Zoom! Nite White system. However, I am questioning whether this system is as good as the Enlighten Deep Bleaching system. I was wondering if you could give me the ins and outs of both, as although I do trust my dentist, I accept that he may be biased towards the system he uses. Any advice on these 2 systems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a gap between my teeth which I would like to close, also the enamel has eroded away on the top of my front teeth since I have had my daughter and the dentist has filled it but it doesn’t look nice. Hi, I am 23 years old and my front incisors are long and not straight. They seem to be coming out day by day which is making my lips look like they are getting fatter. These teeth are also a bit yellow, and stained from childhood.
I have had braces previously to straighten these teeth but now this problem has returned. There isn’t a gap between those teeth, the problem is basically length. Due to this, I don’t feel confident in showing my teeth when I smile.

Hi Marcus, I have a bridge which is over 20 years old and it has never been as white as my natural teeth. I cannot afford to have a new one made at this time. Is there any way in which I could get it whitened as it is making me very depressed as it looks awful. Also, my dentist told me it would be a lot of work to go through to have a new bridge, which scares me. It would be great if there was some way of just whitening it. Please let me know if there a cosmetic procedure I could have without loads of pain. Thank you.
Hey, Dr Hughes. I have a few missing teeth and the teeth I have are discoloured. I am getting so down about their appearance. Is there any way I can get them fixed so I can finally having a bright smile like my friends, but at a low cost? I have been told that treatment will cost around £5000, and that would be for a couple of implants, teeth whitening and a new crown. I cannot afford this and I hate leaving the house due to my smile. I recently tried a home whitening kit that has left white spots on my teeth, I really do not wish to continue the treatment, how can I get I’d of these spots? And I’m looking to straighten my teeth, they are not awful but my two front teeth are starting to cross and I don’t want braces, I’ve heard of clear step but roughly how much is it? Can I get or do I need dental implants if I don’t like my teeth? I have the money and I am prepared for the surgery it’s just I don’t like the look of them. There’s nothing wrong that I know of with them other than the shape and colour. Even after I brush them or should I just get them shaped and whitened? What would be the best option? When I was little my teeth kept falling out like I’d lose one then another two later but now I’m older it doesn’t happen. My dad had to get his taken out and dental implants put in because his fell out when he was little and then again and then later in life so I don’t know if I would have the same problem. I don’t want to get older and have no teeth or missing ones in my mouth. Thank you.
