Is There Any Practice In The North Which Does Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation? Or Do I Need To Travel To London?

Hi Mark. I’m very interested in having pinhole gum rejuvenation after seeing it on the web. I have found several practices that do this procedure but they’re all in the south east of the country and I live in the north east. I was wondering if you knew of any one in the North who could carry out this procedure? My gums have receded very badly particularly on my bottom teeth. I do see my own dentist every six months and brush and floss twice a day. I thought it was something I would have to live with until I saw this procedure.

Is It Possible To Get A Rough Price On How Much Invisible Braces Cost?

Hi Andrew, I am looking to have braces but don’t really like the thought of the train track braces but I have seen the Invisible kind. Do I need to speak to my dentist first before I go to my orthodontist?
Also is it possible to send a picture of the teeth and get a rough price?
They’re not that bad, it’s just the two front teeth and two at the bottom are not perfectly straight? My dentist says I don’t need them but I would be happier when I know my teeth are perfect and I’m willing to pay the price? I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

I’ve Been Diagnosed With Bone Loss And The Treatment They Have Given Me Has Had No Effect Over The Last Three Weeks. What Should My Next Step Be?

I am a 43 years old divorced mother of two and have been diagnosed with bone loss on the upper right and lower right of my face. I am being treated with chlorhexidine gluconate. I have been using this for 3 weeks now and have seen no improvement. I also suffer from graves disease. What should my next step be? The receding gums seem aggressive and this was not being treated at all by my dentist. He did my fillings and then the pains began – since January I’m now being treated by an orthodontist who assured that dentures will not be needed any time soon. Is it time to order veneers as my teeth are also discoloured and ugly. Please help. Your answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How Much Would It Cost Me To Have A Two Bridges Fitted To The Front Of My Mouth?

Hello Dr Moore. Could you please advise how much it would cost to have two bridges fitted at the front of my mouth? I want gold with a porcelain cover (window). I currently have a gold cap that I want replaced with a bridge. The two teeth I want replacing are next to each other in the front of my mouth. I would appreciate your advice or any suggestions you may have. My NHS dentist has advised I may need a plate fitted, however I had this before and couldn’t wear it as it made me feel sick. Hi Mark. I was wondering it’s possible to have teeth removed and replaced with implants? My two front teeth grew out of line from my others due to an accident when I was young in which I smashed my face off concrete and ruined my baby teeth. I tried braces when I was younger but I didn’t like the bullying that came with it. I realise procedures like this could be costly but as I’m now 23 years old I need to do something about it. He put the broken bit back in, but has lost that part now. He is 65 years old. Can he get this fixed or repaired? I’m Concious Of My Smile Now That My Crowns Have Dropped. What Can I Do To Fix This?

Dear Mark. I have 2 post crowns on the upper right 1 and 2. The 2 crowns have dropped and they are now longer than the rest of my teeth. They have been like this for a little while. As far as I know there is no reason for them to have dropped. There is no movement of the crowns they have just dropped. I am very conscious of it and try not to smile as much. Can the crowns be filed down so they are the same length as the rest of my teeth or will I have to get replacements? If so, would I need to have new posts as well? I have been to the dentist who took X-rays and he said that they are fine and ‘well stuck in’. He gave me no help what so ever, he just wanted to get the next patient in. Any information you could give me would be gratefully received. Thanks.

I’m Scared To Have Another Root Canal In Case It Needs Extracting. What Are My Other Options?

Hi Dr Moore. I had root canal many years ago, but it didn’t really cure the infections and I was always in pain. In the end I had to have both teeth extracted. I take great care with my teeth to the extent I have become a bit paranoid. I have now developed another infection which I am told I will have to have either root canal or extraction. I am petrified to have this done in case I lose another tooth, I will also have no teeth on my upper left jaw. What are my options? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello Mark. I Don’t Know Whether To Have Root Canal Treatment Or Not. Can You Advise Me?

Hello. I have a badly decayed molar in my mouth. It is on the right side of my mouth on top; second to the last. I went to my dentist last year in October. He filled the tooth as much as he can. However, as instructed only a temporary fix until my insurance “kicked” in. He said it was badly infected at the time. It also had a huge hole from a bad filling and a cavity. He told me to get a root canal and to put a cap on it, If I choose to pull it, not advised, then all my teeth would eventually shift. I don’t have a clue what to do, either pull it or have a root canal? I have read the pros and cons for root canals. Please advise. Financially I can’t afford a root canal.

Hello Andrew. I hope you can help me with my enquiry. At a young age I had a eating disorder, I would throw up everything I would eat for over Four years, with the help and love of my parents and friends I over came this, but now I notice that with so much throwing up that I was doing, I made a gap between my two front teeth, it isn’t big but I don’t like it how much would it be?
