Q.
My 27 year old son has had veneers on his two upper front teeth since he has been old enough. previous to that he had thin layers of white filling on to cover the marks from anti biotics as a small child, He was teased alot at school from about 9. He is highly sensative and suffers from very low self esteem,so this is very important to him. He has just waited four weeks to have a veneer replaced (NHS £200.00) and is very distressed with the look and feel of the new one,it looks to big and long, crooked and he feels that it will hit his bottom tooth and come off easily, another £200.00! I went straight back into the surgery with him ans he does not like to complain and we went back to see the dentist. She said that there was nothing wrong with it and he will get used to it but he has had several replacements, one by her and they never looked or felt like this one. Have you any advice on what he can do or is there any other way that he could disguise the marking, His teeth are very healthy otherwise, no fillings etc.. This is a very BIG problem for him. We would appriciate any help from you. Thank you
