i want to get my teeth pulled forward and fill the coming gaps with veneers is it possible

Q. Hi Dr. Moore, My teeth are healthy, nice and straight, I have been wearing braces a few years. My problem is that my teeth are located to far back in my mouth. It is like my dentist has pulled everything back to get rid of gaps, and I was missing a tooth as well. When you are a teenager you don´t think so much over it, as long as you get the ugly braces off. I am now 25 and want to get my teeth pulled forward and fill the coming gaps with veneers. Is it possible to pull teeth ca. 0.5 cm forward with braces? or do you need surgery for that? Thank you

A. This is  a common problem with some brace treatment as the teeth are retracted back into the spaces, it is quite difficult to correct so you will need to consult a specialist orthodontist for a full assessment to see if treatment is possible
