Now she is recomenended Crowns in 9 tooths in another clinic and the prize is like around 2000-2500 £ covert to pounds. She having her treatment in wedensday in the Phillippines. The country is highly corropted and i dont trust anyone there. I just wondering what should her ask about and check soo we can be sure that the dentist using really crowns. and what kind of crowns is recomended for her problem. Maybe they are using a kind of crowns that is bad quality for that prize?? I personal dont know anything about tooths, but it is verry expensive and i we dont want it to be right this time. She was there last week and they said that it have to be made at a labratory then they have planed the treatment for only 3 days, Is it a real time to do this work or is it rush. I was spending alot of money last time for nothing and it got worse. Sorry for my english i hope u can understand it and i will presaid it verry much if i get a answere Many Thanks advanced,

I got a second crown to replace incorrectly fitted one but it’s sensitive to cold/hot drink & food. What should I do?

Friday, October 15th, 2010
Q.
Two weeks ago I had a porcelain crown fitted to one of my front teeth. This is the second crown to be fitted in the past 6 months as the first one, a lava crown, was not fitted correctly and I had sensitivity to both hot and cold drinks/foods etc. Unfortunately I am now experiencing the same sensation with this new crown. Is this right?? The two temporary crowns that were fitted inbetween were perfect and I had no sensation at all. I would appreciate your advise on what I should do. Thanks ,

Q.
I have recently undergone root canal treatment, since then I have had terrible pain in this tooth if any pressure is put on it at all . I have gone back to my dentist and she has not really given me a reason for this . She has given me antibiotics which on day 3 still haven’t made a difference. The tooth’s now more sensitive than it was before the treatment . Can you suggest anything as I go on holiday in a few days and don’t want to visit a Turkish dentist,

My gums have receded. Can you suggest a permanent solution?

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr. My gum of my upper canines teeth has resided upwards leaving an exposed area of tooth sensitive to hot and cold. I tried filling which covered the sides but came off pretty soon. One of the Dr suggested a remineralization tooth paste but couldn’t find one. Please suggest a permanent solution,

My crowned tooth is really sensitive after being fitted recently. Will I need further treatment?

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
Q.
I had a crown fitted over a back molar about 4 weeks ago, which had cracked after a long-term large filling. I didn’t require a root canal. The prep went fine but when the temp cover was taken off the dentist was unable to numb it and it was incredibly sensitive. Anyway, the crown was fitted and it was really sensitive to everything for a week then it subsided a bit. Now the tooth next to it is sensitive too! The crowned tooth is sensitive to very hot drinks and food but not as bad as it was and a little bit sensitive to very cold stuff too. Please tell me that I don’t require any further treatment as they couldn’t numb it last time I went and the prospect of drilling when I can feel it makes me feel ill!!! Many thanks,
