I got a second crown to replace incorrectly fitted one but it’s sensitive to cold/hot drink & food. What should I do?
Q. Two weeks ago I had a porcelain crown fitted to one of my front teeth. This is the second crown to be fitted in the past 6 months as the first one, a lava crown, was not fitted correctly and I had sensitivity to both hot and cold drinks/foods etc. Unfortunately I am now experiencing the same sensation with this new crown. Is this right?? The two temporary crowns that were fitted inbetween were perfect and I had no sensation at all. I would appreciate your advise on what I should do. Thanks ,
A. Not quite sure what the problem is here but you may need the bite adjusting or if things don’t improve, the nerve removed from the tooth.
