I have been told I have receding gums. What treatments will help this?

Q. I have been told I have receding gum, which I find has made my teeth so sentive that I am having difficulty chewing my food. What treatments are available and would veneers help?,
A. It depends on the cause of gum shrinkage you need the sensitive nerve endings that are currently exposed to be covered. I would need to see you to give you the best options.

6 of my front bottom teeth look awful but the worst thing is the gum line under each tooth as they have receeded to the extent that you can almost see the bone in the gaps between the teeth & gum area,,would cosmetic crowns or veneers improve there appearence or would i be better having another cosmetic treatment?I have read on the internet that implants would not be an option for me as i do smoke.Thank you for any advice you can give me.

You might be able to have implants despite being a smoker however you need to consult an experienced dentist first to give you all the options

When I was young my baby front left tooth decayed and I got it taken out and the actual tooth never came out. It got stuck up there. Now, the left tooth next to the missing one is misaligned and now I have two gaps with this teeth in between the gaps. I really dont want to wear braces and I dont think I am a good candidate for invasalign either. How else can I be able to get the gaps closed. I dont really mind the front gap but the other gap to the left needs to go and also I need to have the misaligned tooth straightened.
