My dentist wants me to have white fillings at the top of my teeth where the gum has receeded. He says this will protect the root. I am concerned these will fall out because they aren’t sitting in a cavity. What are the chances of this happening?

what can be done to fix my bone loss due to gum disease?

Hi, I am worried sick. Have been visiting my dentist 3 monthly for many years now due to receeding gums. Things seemed to be getting worse so I visited another dentist who has referred me urgently to dental hospital, apparently I have lost a significant amount of bone due to gum disease. My teeth are long due to gum disease can I get lumineers

I have had gum disease. My gum line is very receded and therefore my teeth are very “long”. I have been treated and see a dentist regularly but would like to improve the looks of my front teeth. I also have big gaps between my teeth where the gums used to be. Am I a candidate for lumineers?

My mums gums dont cover much of her teeth anymore

Hi im looking for some information for my mum. She has really bad teeth and gums, She has gum disease and her gums don’t cover much of her teeth any more, she has gaps between her teeth and they are loose. I had a bridge fitted supporting 3 crowns and 1 pontic. while they look really good i feel that sometimes saliva goes through the top of the pontic and makes my speech appear as having a slight lisp. the gum had been damaged in the past with a blow to my mouth and the gum seems to have receeded. have you ever come across this before

Small gap and gums receding

I believe I have gum disease starting in my front bottom teeth 2 have developed a small gap and the gums are receeding. How can I prevent this from spreading. How can I get my gums healthy again.
