My mums gums dont cover much of her teeth anymore
Q. Hi im looking for some information for my mum. She has really bad teeth and gums, She has gum disease and her gums don’t cover much of her teeth any more, she has gaps between her teeth and they are loose. With her gums in such a bad way is there anything she can have done to give her a pretty smile again? Thank you for your reply in advance

Cosmetic work can only be carried out on a healthy foundation. Therefore your mothers gum disease would need to be addressed before any restorative work is done.
i recommend that your mother books a consultation with a periodontist. A periodontist is a dentist that specialises in treating gums. They will be able to treat your mothers gums and once stable, you can look at the cosmetic options avaible for her.
