My dentist said invisalign are only sold in pair and it wouldnt be worth it to me? whats its cost

Monday, June 29th, 2009
Q.
I have had metal braces on my top teeth for 8 months. I am scheduled to get braces on the bottom teeth. My orthodontist said that I have approximately 10 months remaining in treatment. I didn’t get Invisalign originally because my ortho said that since Invisaligns are only sold in pairs (top & bottom) it wouldn’t be worth it to me. How much would Invisalign cost now?

I currently have orthodontic braces fitted after the treatment would the gums push them back

Friday, June 19th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I’m fifteen years old and I currently have orthadontic braces fitted, I’ve had them on for a couple of months because my inscisors next to my two main front teeth never grew, I just never got an adult pair of them. The plan is that the braces will bring my canines into the place where these missing teeth are meant to be, and then they will be shaped to look more like inscisors. However, a friend of mine got a similar treatment done, and he said the problem was that the gum that had gathered between the teeth as they were pushed together, eventually pushed them apart again, even with wearing a retainer. Is it a possibility that my gum will push them apart again, and if so, what can I do about it? Thanks for your help.

I had brace in 18 now my front teeth have loosened a little bit is dental implants a best option

Friday, June 19th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I am 42 years old. I had braches when I was eighteen and now my denitst is telling me that my roots have been shortened because of the braces. My 4 front teeth have loosened a little bit and I would like some advice as to what I need to do. My dentist advised me to go to an orthodonist and have a splint attached to the 4 front teeth. My husband’s dentist advised to have those teeth pulled and get dental implants. What do you think would be the best option? Thank You

Is it possible to have invisible brace without the wisdom teeth fully grown out

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009
Q.
Dr Dr Moore I am thinking about getting invisible braces. I had braces when i was younger ( I am now 20) and i have recently noticed that one of my top wisdom teeth is coming out. Its not causing me any problems however I have noticed one of my teeth on my top front row has slightly moved on the side the wisdom tooth is growing through. Could this be related? I would like to straighten the tooth, it is possible to have the invisible brace without all the wisdom teeth fully grown out? Thank you for your time.

My bottom tooth has moved forward will the ortho be able to fix without braces

Monday, June 15th, 2009
Q.
I’m 17 years old, I got my braces off two-three years ago. I have a perment retainer on my bottom and a retainer I wear at night for my top. A friend pointed out to me that my bottom tooth (on the right side of my two front ones) has moved foward and slightly to the left. Will the ortho be able to fix this without putting braces back on? Will it cost more money?
