My orthodontist want me to have the baby teeth pulled will the metal brace close the spaces

I am 28 yrs old and have decided to get the metal braces to straigten my teeth. I have a very small mouth so I have a lot of crowded teeth and I have a tooth pushed back so I have a space in my top teeth. I also have two baby teeth on the bottom. My orhtodontist wants me to have the two baby teeth pulled as well as two teeth on the top. My concern is will the metal braces pull those new spaces together, I do not want to create more spaces in teeth. thanks

Im 39 years old and ive braces for 15 months and my face appears quite larger can u explain

Hello, I am 39 years old and I have been wearing braces for about 15 months. During this time, I have noticed that each side of my face has become gradually wider. It was not until recently when I started to look at some of photos of my self that my face has appears quite larger. It appears that the angle of my jaw has moved away from my ear and my jaw is a bit more pronounced. I will say that I am quite depressed by this. I don’t look the same as once did prior to braces. I don’t like to smile because when I do, the sides of my face projected out as if my masseter muscle has been on steroids. Also, my cheek bones ball up when I smile. I don’t understand why this happening and I am searching for possible answers. Thank you for your time

Ive a baby tooth which has not yet fallen out as the tooth what kind of procedure i would need

Dear Dr Patel I have recently been told that I need to have a brace fitted. I have a baby tooth which has not yet fallen out as the tooth above has not come through. I am 26 years old and I am most distressed about this. I do not know why it wasn’t picked up before and as I already have many self issues I feel a brace is going to upset me even more. Please could you tell me about what kind of procedure I would need. I have been advised that I would need to have the roof of my mouth drilled and then the tooth would have to be pulled through and fitted to a brace. Is this correct? I hope to hear from you soon.
