Should I get infected tooth removed or not?

Monday, January 18th, 2010
Q.
I have on the right lower side the tooth next to the wisdom tooth that is little loose, and the dentist indicated that in the future IS GOING TO BE EXSTRACTED. Ihad some infection on the gum and some work done it about NINE months ago.Ican eat, no pain, if ghet worse I would consider a FIXED BRIDGE….. Should I remove the TOOTH and have a Bridge with two porcellain crowns, or continue until I have problem, infection etc.or other complications. Also in your opinion the material CERAMIC or PORCELLAIN FUSED WITH METAL? In this condition I can manage well.. Can the situation of the loose tooth generate other problem in other TEETH. Tank you please for your professional advice,

Can damaged tooth be repaired?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have a very badly damaged front tooth. On the top row, one of the teeth has a large section missing, exposing the gum. The back of the tooth is fine and healthy. An NHS dentist has seen it in the past but was not able to do anything about it. The tooth is getting weaker and it’s getting gradually harder and harder to eat even the softest foods. I know it’s my own fault but would really like to get it fixed and don’t know what options to look into. Many thanks for any help you can suggest. Kind regards,

Can I have a bridge instead of implants?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010
Q.
I have to have my four lower front teeth extracted due to gum disease and my dentist suggests that I have a partial denture placed directly after the extraction. Later on he suggest that I have implants to replace the extracted teeth. My question is whether a bridge could be used instead of the implants and if it is an option, which is the best option in the long run?,

Would implant be good replacement for old bridge?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010
Q.
I had a bridge done by the NHS when I was 15 yrs old. It’s not looking really great now that I’m 32 yrs old. The metal is not only showing through on the adjacent tooth but where the enamel has ebbed away is actually showing now. As I’m considering getting my teeth lasered with brite Smile I wondered if now would be the best time to get an implant and how much would all this cost me as I am working but have very little to spend.,
