Dental bridge is causing pain me pain. Will tooth fall out?

Q. I have had a bridge for the last 15 years covering 4 teeth. It has recently become painful to chew on and I fear there is a whole in the top edge of the real tooth. In losing my tooth inevitable? Will I lose the bridge? What are my options, costs attached? Thanks,
A. It depends on the condition of the teeth under the bridge and why it is painful. It may be that a new bridge can be made. Or alternatives may be implants to replace the missing teeth. Costs range depending on the dentist’s skill, materials used and number of teeth being replaced
