Hi…am 22 years old i asked my dentist if he thought i needed braces he said no…then i said how about retainer? he laughed and said the braces come first and if you dont need braces then you will not need a retainer… he said i will only need some whitening done on my teeth and i’ll be good. i really dont like my teeth i think one or two are crooked and a lil gap in between them. what can i do ? what do you recommend?

I still don’t like the shape and size of the crowns what are my options

Hi, When I was 20 I had crowns fitted to my two front upper teeth following an accident. The whole process was very traumatic and took many many months as I was under the care of a London Teaching Hospital. It was in the 1960’s and I am now 60 yrs old. I have never been happy with the look and think the crowns are too big. I would like a better look and smile ( though not hollywood dazzling!). My own local dentist suggested whitening which I had done 2 years ago- but I still don’t like the shape and size of the crowns. Could I achieve a better effect quickly and easily with replacement crowns? I wanted veneers but I understand they don’t work if teeth have been replaced by crowns already. thanks

Is there anyway I can get my teeth straighten without having to keep wearing this retainer?

Between the ages of 16-18 I wore a brace. My teeth were then straight so I wore a retainer for 6 months but then lost it. I had to go back to get another brace as my teeth started to move leaving my teeth uneven again with spaces between my teeth. After wearing that brace for 6-12 months my teeth were straight again. However for the past 13 years I have been wearing a retainer each night to keep my teeth straight. I still need to wear this retainer as my teeth will move back to the way they were previously. Is there anyway I can get my teeth straighten without having to keep wearing this retainer?

Hello. I hope you can help. I have quite crooked teeth and a potruding tooth at the top right. This affects my confidence greatly and I really would like a solution. Braces are extremely costly however I have been looking at the six month brace which is a great deal cheaper however, these all seem to be London based practices that offer this brace. Will I find it any closer to home? I live in Kent. I just want a nice smile!! Hope you can help. Many Thanks

Hi i need urgent help with my teeth. the problem is about 12 years ago i was in an accident and lost one of my top incisor,presently i am 19. consequently, i have riders at the buttom which i am very much ashamed of. this problem has caused me to have less frens since i only talk 2 people i am close because i am afraid that other willudge me because of my teeth. my question to you is do u think there is hope for me to have aligned and white teeth so that i can smile with all my teeth when im in public 4 the first time. i hope 2 hear from u soon. by the way i live in Guyana the only english speaking country in south america. thanks in advance yours truely
