Q. Between the ages of 16-18 I wore a brace. My teeth were then straight so I wore a retainer for 6 months but then lost it. I had to go back to get another brace as my teeth started to move leaving my teeth uneven again with spaces between my teeth. After wearing that brace for 6-12 months my teeth were straight again. However for the past 13 years I have been wearing a retainer each night to keep my teeth straight. I still need to wear this retainer as my teeth will move back to the way they were previously. Is there anyway I can get my teeth straighten without having to keep wearing this retainer?
