Q.
Dear Mr. Moore, I am writing to you in hope that you can somehow help me. Two months ago I was doing teeth whitening and the results were OK except two teeth (tooth number 4 and number 6 on the left upper jaw). Tooth number 4 is a tooth without nerve (which was taken out 20 years ago) and it was very dark. Tooth number 6 was yellow since it had a filling since I was a child (I am 37 now). My dentist recommended to put porcelain veneers for these two teeth and I accepted. Unfortunately he was not trained well and he scraped almost one third of tooth or even more. So he was not able to put veneers (and also veneers were not made properly) and instead he put the white filling on the front side of these teeth. I am very unhappy with this solution but since I am in Belgrade, Serbia, it seems like dentists here are not so advanced and they are recommending to leave it like this. I have to say that this look OK but I am not happy with this solution and I know that it is just a temporary solution. I know that you can’t tell me without seeing it but I need your advice is it possible to put veneers on these two teeth and can they look naturally as my own teeth? And if not what other options I have? I use to live in London and I would be able to come for a treatment in UK so if this can be done properly in UK I would come for a treatment. Could you please give me advice what to do. Many thanks and kind regards,,
Dr Andrew Moore
