Q.
Hello, i would like to ask if i could have dental implants. when i was younger i was terrified of the dentist, i have lots most of my bottom teeth on either side, well one side has no teeth at the bottom. i am 52 and i find it hard to eat properly. this is having an effect on my other teeth, which have to work harder. i have two bridges at the top, which i had done several years ago, in order to give me confidence to smile. at present i am unemployed is there any help i can get to have this done. many thanks ,

Is the cost of implants I have been estimated correct, and what can be done for front teeth that have moved due to missing tooth?

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010
Q.
Hello Dr. Tennet, I would like to ask 2 questions please if you don’t mind. Question 1. I have quite a few problems with my teeth at the moment, probably due to neglect and not visiting the dentist enough, but I have 3 teeth missing on the right hand side of my mouth at the top, and I have been to see a cosmetic dentist who does seem to have a good reputation, although I have not been to him before. I have had a quote for 2 teeth to be replaced with implants. The quote is £1400 for each implant, and £1000 for each implant retained crown. A total of £4800 for 2 teeth. I would just like your opinion on the price please. I live in the Grimsby area of Lincolnshire. Question 2. All my teeth are fairly good at the front, except that years ago I had a tooth removed from the top left, and because of this my top teeth have all moved to the left and I now have one of my two front teeth right in the middle. In other words my two front teeth are not in the middle any more. Could you please advise me what is the best treatment to correct this, or as near as possible. Thank you Dr. Tennet. Yours sincerely.,

Is there any way I can get cosmetic dentistry without paying a fortune for it?

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010
Q.
I’ve had problems with my teeth for as long as I can remember. But now things are getting worse. Despite regular brushing and using mouthwash my teeth are quite discoloured and now I’ve also noticed I have 3 loose teeth. I want to have more confidence when I smile but now I need implants as well. Unfortunately I’ve been made redundant and can’t afford to have the work done. Is there anyway I can get a brighter smile at least without paying fortunes for it?,
