I have two gaps in my teeth. Will one implant work or will I need two?

Thursday, September 9th, 2010
Q.
I have a tooth that had a crown on that needs to be removed. Next to it is a space from an earlier extraction. Can I have one implant in that space since only one will be seen when I smile or do both areas need implants? I can’t afford two implants as this time,

Can you advise me on what to do next as I am a very nervous patient?

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I have rotten teeth in my upper jaw and arranged an appointment for the first time in years to visit a dentist in Manchester. After the consultation I was given 3 options, 1) Remove all the rotten teeth and fit a denture. 2) fit a full mouth bridge that would be anchored to 1 tooth. 3) Implants. At the time I couldnt afford options 2 / 3, and was far to reluctant to get dentures as I’m only 30. I now have more money available for treatment, but the dentist wont see me again because I failed to turn-up for my second appointment (very bad, I know, but I felt I was being pushed into getting a treatment I didnt want). Could you advise me of what I should do next – I am still a very nervous patient and feel embarrased going to see a dentist who doesnt know my situation. Many Thanks,

Q.
Dear doctor, I have a few questions to you: first of all how expensive can be dental implant? can implant cause problem in future or how dangerous can be it? is implant surgery on the most difficult rate within all dental surgery? I am living in Azerbaijan but I am not sure our implant spesialist have quite strong knowledge in implantation. So my last question is which country is the best for implantation surgery? Many thanks for reply. Regerds

How much would it cost to replace 3 teeth?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
Good morning Dr Solanki, I have recently lost a couple of teeth due to, I’m unhappy to say, poor care and lack of regular dental appointments. Truth is, the thought of going to the dentist petrifies me. When I’m in the “Reclining chair of pain” which I like to call it, I shake uncontrollably and as much as the shades I’m given make me want to believe I’m on a beach, there’s still a man poking around in my mouth that I’m not 100% at ease with. Due to the loss of these teeth, I have strongly considered cosmetic surgery and having dental implants put in to replace them. I have read the implants page of the website and the information is seems sound, especially that I can be put under if I’m extremely anxious. I was wondering however, what the proposed cost might be to replace these three teeth, being a lower left molar, lower right bicuspid and lower right molar. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time,
,
