Hi, im 26 years old and one of my front upper teeth stick out quite a lot. i wore a removeable brace when i was 14 for a while and had 5 teeth removed, die to circumstance i never carried on with treatment but it did help, where now it looks like my tooth could bejust pushed back about 4mm and it would be more in line. (before my other teeth where behind it) Am looking to get it fixed now and wonderedwhat the options where, and if braces, what type do you think? Thanks very much,

Is it safe for me to have dental veneers and crowns on the upper teeth with periodontal disease?

I am 37 years old, 2 years ago i have been diagnosis with periodental disease. i had 5 m pockets, the dr did scaling for treatment. i have gaps between my teeth and i stoped smiling. is it safe to have veneer and crowns on the upper teeth. the dr advised me to do ortho for my lower teeth also. please let me know if this is safe or not. The screw covering my dental implant has fallen out, does this matter?

Is there any treatment available for my gum recession?

Hi Dr Caplan, My gumline has been receding gradually for the past 5 years and I have been told by my dental hygienist that it is due to overbrushing (not due to gum disease). My gum recession is quite mild and does not pose any problems, but I do not like how it looks. Is there any natural remedy for my gums to grow back, e.g. any gels I can apply to my gums to stimulate regrowth? Thank you! Cheers, Amanda,

Hi Dr.. Im in a position where i hate to smile cos of the way my teeth look as have gaps at back top and bottom both sides and caps of front which look shabby. I would love the idea of tooth implants but unfortunately i simply cant afford it and would never get finance to help cover the cost due to the amount of problems ive had recently. So.. trying to find a way to solve my issue i keep hitting walls and wonder if maybe you could put me in a direction of maybe some Dental trials etc?? I have also been reading on new development on Ultrasound growing new teeth? Is there maybe trials going on in U,K soon?? I dont have many problems in life but get so down about this issue as feel kike i cant go out with friends cos like them i would look and see things i dont want to see and im getting really depressed without a way of solving this issue. Is there any treatment for a missing front tooth?

I have had one of my front teeth removed 2 months ago. My dentist had a plate made up for me which makes me sick every time I where it. I have been informed by my dentist that I cannot have a bridge made because the front tooth that remains is a crown with a metal post and the remaining bone where the other tooth was has been effected? I would like to have a second opinion on this as I cannot go about any longer with a missing front tooth (It is driving me mad),
