Is there any treatment for a missing front tooth?

Q. I have had one of my front teeth removed 2 months ago. My dentist had a plate made up for me which makes me sick every time I where it. I have been informed by my dentist that I cannot have a bridge made because the front tooth that remains is a crown with a metal post and the remaining bone where the other tooth was has been effected? I would like to have a second opinion on this as I cannot go about any longer with a missing front tooth (It is driving me mad),
A. Please make an appointment at my practice where I will be able to give you your options
