Im 37yrs old. over time my two front teeth have been pushed upwards, creating a upside v, but have not overlapped. I think the cause of this was a wisdom tooth, which took many years to come through. Ive since just recently had it removed, and asked my dentist advise if my two front teeth could be straighten. He didnt think a orthodontist could help, and said having them filled or even veneers would solve the problem. i was really hoping he would of refered me to a orthodontist instead, but as he doesnt know any near where i live (my dentist is in Leeds, which im there every so often, but i live in London).. i feel my only option is to have what he has said, but im in two minds if thats what i actually want.. hope you can help.. many thanks

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011Please could you advise what to do when you have a canine tooth in this case my right, that has grown on top of or at least slightly overlapping the teeth surrounding it. My mouth is small and as my wisdom teeth have emerged all my previously straight teeth bottom and top are becoming more uneven. I would like to have braces perhaps but don’t know if an extraction bottom and top would be required before straightening could start. I would also like to have some whitening done but not sure if it is best to wait until the other problems are sorted first. I have never shown my teeth in a photograph and try not to laugh or smile as i feel it looks bad. If you have any advice i would be grateful.

Monday, April 11th, 2011Hi, my second from back tooth is slightly loose and I can move it with my tongue. It doesn’t hurt so I am thinking it could just be nothing. I am 15 and wisdom teeth are coming through. Is this loose tooth normal??

Wednesday, March 30th, 2011Hi I was just wondering when I was younger my dentist analyzed my mouth and said I need teeth taken out for my wisdom’s to grow but I did not take it I want perfect teeth but I don’t know how advanced the technologies are these days I have crooked teeth where all my wisdom’s have grow through but as I have no space in my mouth its pushed all my teeth together and I also have it where my tooth enamel is thin is there anything I can do?

3 of my wisdom teeth have come out. They haven’t cause me problems, apart from they are all facing the gum outwards (just slightly), but are fine.
But recently my last wisdom tooth has started coming up.
It has broken the skin. But only on one side, and now there is a gap between the wisdom tooth and the other tooth. Does this mean the wisdom tooth is impacted?
Should I get a general or local anaesthetic for my procedure?

Friday, March 11th, 2011 hi, i have a canine tooth that has grown alot higher than the rest of my teeth but there is not enough space for it to be pulled down, i also have all four wisdom teeth growing through so my teeth feel loose and soft.
i have had the canine tooth since i was 8 and it grew through after having my milk teeth out to make room for my canine teeth to grow down, i have been passed round numberous of orthodontists and was told numberous of things in the mean time. im more worried now with my wisdom growing through that my teeth will become more crooked than what they are already….what do you suggest.
My gums ares still bleeding after an extraction, what should I do?

i’ve had my wisdom tooth out and my dentist gave me something to stop the bleeding and said remove it after 30mins but 3hours later and theres stll bleeding and pain
