What advice do you have for wisdom teeth that have forced teeth to overlap?

Q.
Please could you advise what to do when you have a canine tooth in this case my right, that has grown on top of or at least slightly overlapping the teeth surrounding it. My mouth is small and as my wisdom teeth have emerged all my previously straight teeth bottom and top are becoming more uneven. I would like to have braces perhaps but don’t know if an extraction bottom and top would be required before straightening could start. I would also like to have some whitening done but not sure if it is best to wait until the other problems are sorted first. I have never shown my teeth in a photograph and try not to laugh or smile as i feel it looks bad. If you have any advice i would be grateful.
A.
My advice would be to have consultation with a dentist who performs orthodontics i,e braces. By examining your mouth it will enable the dentist to give the best treatment option for your mouth.

i recently had a top left wisdom tooth out and while having it removed my dentist pulled out a large piece of bone which sliced through my gums i hadto have stitches which fell out by themselves before she could remove themwhile i was having it checked she stabbed me in lip with the scissors and then trapped my bottom lip in the handle of the scissors. I have to have work to finish off a crown but i`m so nervous of her now would it be wise to leave her in the middle of treatment.

Good afternoon to you, I would like to find out if you offer wisdom teeth extraction as a service. I have an extreme phobia when it comes to the thought of my gums being cut to remove my wisdom teeth and your site got my attention as you pay attention to patients with this kind of fear. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Ive just been to the dentist to have a wisdom tooth removed adn was told I was having an impression for a crown. until the drilling started, i didnot realise this would mean having a temporary crown that day. If Id knowI would not have gone ahead as the temporary crown is only designed ot last2 weeks and Im on holiday from the 20th July until the 4th august. Im concerned the temporary wont last until then and i really dont want to have towatch what I eat on holiday. Is it possible to have the one day cerec crownasap even though my tooth has already been drilled? (Having the treatmentwill have to depend somewhat on price as I have just given a dentist closeto C2A3300). I will be grateful for any help you can give, Kind regard

Hi, I am interested in getting the 6 month orthodontic treatment for my topand bottom teeth and was wondering about the cost of the procedure? I hadbraces as a child and when my wisdom teeth came up, they ruined all my orthodontic work by pushing my teeth forward and overcrowding them. Would I still be a candidate for these braces? Thanks

I have quite bad pain around my bottom left wisdom tooth, it’s been going on for about a week now and seems worse an more swollen in the morning when i get up, it’s also quite red but the gum around the tooth is a white colour,it also has like a kind of throbbing pain most of the time but it seems to ease off a bit through the day and the swelling goes down a bit. i was wondering is this just the tooth moving around or is it something else??

Its an infection under the gum so may need treating with antibiotics or removal. Pop to your dentist this week and get it checked out
