Hi there. What would be approx cost of 11 extractions (under sedation) top jaw and a really good fitting denture, full top set. I am looking into implants but may have to do it in stages due to the cost. Would the extractions and fitting of dentures be something a cosmetic dentist would do ? as i notice that some dentists on here say you should get the mouth in healthy condition first before seeing a cosmetic dentist and my mouth is no where near healthy. Dear Dr. Caplan Im 16 years old girl. My front tooth is chipped and its very sensitive. I went to see my dentist and he put some paste (infill) on this tooth. Now I had it done about 5 times now and he said that next time he will do a veneer. How much does it cost because i should get it done for free because Im under 18 and full-time education ? Hi, I was wondering about a root canal. I need a root canal procedure on my right front tooth. I heard that you have to have a crown when the procedure is finished. I’m worried about my smile and if the crown color will match my other teeth. I don’t want my tooth to be obvious. Is there any way I can still have my teeth look the same ? THANKS. 🙂

Ive severe overcrowding and overlapping teeth Im wondering should I get veneers?

Hello I have severe overcrowding, and my 2 overlapping teeth come down as far as my normal teeth. Iam wondering what I should do? If I should get veeniers and when those 2 teeth are taken out will I have 2 big holes left in my gums. Which would mean they would be very visible when smiling, considering how big and close to my front teeth they are? I can send pics if needed.

My son still has his peg tooth where his K9 should be please advice

My Son has just been to see a orthodontisis regarding a small peg tooth where his K9 should be. The specilist advised for him to surgery to the roof of his mouth to allow the K9 to be exposed then tohave 3 years of brace work. I ask if there was any alteranative which was to have the peg tooth removed in a hope that teh k9 will come down. This will also mean to remove 2 other baby tooth to help the k9. Im not sure which way to go I think the frst option is rather extreme just to get the perfect smile. Please advise

My teeth are crooked can anything be done to my incisors or canines.

When i was 11 i had a brace, it was,to pull my 4 top incisors out as they were not curved, but straight, making my canines look like fangs.This was a removable brace, with an extra piece at night that went round my head.Anyway, it didnt work and nothing else was done, i dont know why. It has bothered me ever since. i am almost 40 now, and i put my hand over my mouth when i laugh and try not to show my teeth. Can anything be done, either to my incisors or canines..ie filing them as they look longer than my insisors, making it look worse. Thank you for your time.
