Ive severe overcrowding and overlapping teeth Im wondering should I get veneers?

Q. Hello I have severe overcrowding, and my 2 overlapping teeth come down as far as my normal teeth. Iam wondering what I should do? If I should get veeniers and when those 2 teeth are taken out will I have 2 big holes left in my gums. Which would mean they would be very visible when smiling, considering how big and close to my front teeth they are? I can send pics if needed.

A. With severe crowding I usually recommend orthodontics first to realign the teeth before veneer work.  Sometimes that is all that is required
