I am 23 years old my teeth have started rotting

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008
Q.
I am 23 years old. I have had 3 children, and during my pregnancies my teeth started rotting, so me being pregnant, thinking I could not help. I did not go. I stopped brushing my teeth for awhile because they would hurt, my gums would be very tender and bleed (they still do). I try to brush my teeth now and I still have the same problem. I have a lot of holes, a missing k-9 tooth, a couple of rotting wisdom teeth, missing moullers. It hurts sometimes no matter what I eat. It seems as though when I chew my teeth are going to just break. I’m so afraid of losing my teeth but I’m afraid of pain and I don’t like to hear my teeth being pulled out, that sounds awful. I know I should go see a dentist and I really want to, but money is always an issue. My credit is awful but I need help so bad. My mouth is falling apart and I’m so sad about this that it almost makes me feel depressed and I don’t like to smile or even open my mouth. I don’t even like to kiss anymore!! šŸ™ please help do I still have a chance?

I’m a 26 year old guy a couple of months ago my dentist told me I have gum disease

Friday, December 5th, 2008
Q.
Hi Dr I’m a 26 year old guy a couple of months ago my dentist told me I have gum disease which really shocked me, main reasons been I look after my teeth so much I don’t smoke and as far as I’ve found out its not in my family history. Only 3 months after the dentist informed me of this I had to get a tooth at the back of the right side of my mouth taken out which my dentist told me was due to my gum disease I’m now really afraid now that I’ll be left with no teeth by my 40s which would be awful for me as I really take pride of my teeth and it’s always the first thing I notice in person. I’ve only just had my orthodontic braces removed 2 years ago and now this. What can I do to stop this gum disease or prevent it and what is the worst case scenario???? Many

Friday, December 5th, 2008
Q.
I have been told after extractions now done that I do not have sufficient bone width for implants without bone grafting and also need sinus lifts to accomodate the pegs/posts. Would so called “blade” retained implants overcome this problem thanks

Is it necessary for a 12 year old kid to have her milk teeth removed

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008
Q.
I have asked this query yesterday and i’m hoping that you could help me with it. Is it necessary for a 12 year old kid to have her milk teeth removed to give way to permanent teeth? She still have several milk teeth and she’s already 12, so i’m a bit worried. Thanks very much for your help

I had to go to the dentist to have my left upper baby canine tooth removed

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008
Q.
Here’s the problem. When I was 14 I had to go to the dentist to have my left upper baby canine tooth removed because it wouldnt’ come loose and the adult tooth was growing in behind it. This didn’t correct the problem because my adult tooth was almost all the way in. All my other teeth are in perfect position. It’s just this one tooth that is out of line. Instead of going over my bottom canine tooth my upper one goes behind it. It’s like it grew in at the perfect angle because it doesn’t cause any of my other teeth to crossbite at all. So what I’m wondering is, do I have to get this Canine tooth pulled and have an implant put in or are there other means by which this tooth can be put in it’s correct positioning? I can send you pictures if need be. Thanks so much for your insight!

Hello I seem to have a rotting decay in my mouth

Monday, November 17th, 2008
Q.
Hello, I seem to have a rotting decay in my mouth and have about 8 teeth already removed with several more falling apart and in bits(half a tooth or one with a big hole in), it runs in the family, i am only 28. i had my baby last year and the dentist(nhs) treated me for some of the work as he said he could not get funding for all the work that i needed. I went about 5 times. i said i wanted them all ripped out and he said he will refer me to the dentist hospital where they can do it all for free as they are in-training but said it can take ages. i have phoned the dentist but they just say it takes a while. Is this the only way to get dentures without paying the earth, your advice is much appreciated, many thanks

Monday, November 17th, 2008
Q.
Hi i have a decayed tooth in the top centre right of my mouth. very little of the tooth can be seen as it has came out from my jaw properly as it is fused to my jaw. it is a hereditary problem. my question is if this tooth causes no pain should it be removed and it would it be difficult to remove it? would a filling be the the only option as my dentist said a filling wouldnt be possible. please advise. thank you.
