Q. Here’s the problem. When I was 14 I had to go to the dentist to have my left upper baby canine tooth removed because it wouldnt’ come loose and the adult tooth was growing in behind it. This didn’t correct the problem because my adult tooth was almost all the way in. All my other teeth are in perfect position. It’s just this one tooth that is out of line. Instead of going over my bottom canine tooth my upper one goes behind it. It’s like it grew in at the perfect angle because it doesn’t cause any of my other teeth to crossbite at all. So what I’m wondering is, do I have to get this Canine tooth pulled and have an implant put in or are there other means by which this tooth can be put in it’s correct positioning?
