I have had 2 veneers on my front teeth. i am a smoker and a red wine drinker. i have cut down on the red wine or i will have it through a straw, because my two front teeth have already turned a yellow colour i had the treatment done late nov 2008. i clean twice a day but they are still going a nasty colour and people have remarked now i hate smiling. What can i do ????????

I have had root canal treatmemt on 2 front teeth and feel very conscious that their color is different to rest of teeth. I would prefer not to have veneers but wondered if there was alternate options. Secondly, would teeth whitening alter the shade of these teeth as would light to have this done but dont want to further enhance difference in shades. Many thanks

How can i correct tooth discoloration and front teeth are translucent are these about to crack?

Hi, I have had a root canal done about 13 years ago on one of my front teeth. Now, I am starting to see discoloration, and the tooth has a very little chip (which can’t really be seen). My question is do you have any suggestions what I can do to fix this problem of discoloration? Crown? Venners? Also, the rest of my front teeth are very thin on the bottom, also translucent. Do you what that may be from, and how can i avoid having problems with those teeth in the future? I just think that those teeth may be more prone to cracking? Is that true? Thank you very much for answering my questions.

Can teeth whitening damage white fillings and is the strenghth 22% or 16% a factor( I have both from my dentist ) one of my front teeth appears to be losing a white filling after using the 22% and I had v bad toothache ( which I can live with ) after using the 22%.I am considering going ahead with 2 hour sessions in trays with 22%but I am not due to see my dentist until after Christmas and don’t want to damage my front teeth which of course I want to whiten. Thanks for any observations PS my teeth are partially whitened now.
