Hi Dr Andrew, hope you are well. What is the difference between Enlighten Whitening and Enlighten Evolution 3 Whitening? I know with Evolution 3 you get the in-surgery appointment on the 15th day, but does this really make a big difference to results generally, as there is a significant difference in price? And do teeth sometimes go whiter than a B1 shade? I’ve heard they can do depending on natural colour of teeth?

Hello there. I would like to whiten my teeth, which are quite discoloured. I do not smoke so I guess it’s age and tea drinking mainly! (I am 65yrs old). Most dentists use peroxide based systems,but some people say these damage the teeth enamel. Are these chemicals safe to use or will they possibly damage the enamel in the long term? There seem to be some articles that suggest peroxide should not be used. Thank you.

I was born abroad in a Florine heavy part of Africa where almost everybody had the problem. All my teeth are discoloured (brown and dark brown). Hi. I’ve always had discoloured fangs and also I smoked for quite some years. I no longer smoke now and would love to get my teeth professionally whitened. However, due to the cost of this it’s out of my budget. Is there a school or college you know of that I could volunteer at for tooth whitening, either for free or for a lot cheaper? I’m from Leicester but obviously don’t mind traveling to get this done.
I’m considering having teeth whitening and veneers. Before visiting my dentist I had in mind just the top 8 teeth but my dentist advised to just get the front 4, as my other teeth are good size, with just 4 veneers and the other 4 teeth visible in my smile. Will there be a noticeable difference? And as a separate question, my dentist also advised Zirconium veneers but Google results suggest these aren’t the best for front teeth. Can you offer any advice on the above questions and any recommendations?

Good evening. I have purchased a deal online to get my crowns re-done with a lighter colour. I would like laser teeth whitening and I know this does not work on fake teeth hence the reason for my purchase of new crowns. However, I am doing the procedures separately as I found a separate deal on Groupon for £79 for Zoom! teeth whitening in Kensington. Should I get the whitening done before replacing the crowns, and will it be OK that the procedures are separate? Also is Zoom! a good make? Thank you.
Hi, I have some tooth enamel loss in one of my front teeth, and a little of the other front tooth. I’d like to know, would teeth whitening whiten and cover up the enamel loss area affected, or would I need to consider veneers? My teeth otherwise are straight and no cracks or problems with them, just some obvious enamel loss in my front teeth. Hello, I had a Sure Smile teeth whitening treatment performed with UV light with some gel, first for 15 minutes and then 30 minutes afterwards. My teeth were very sensitive and I had a major headache. Also the goggles appear to have burnt the side of my face, is this legal? I said my teeth were lacking enamel. It even hurts to chew. My friend had hers done and she is fine. I wish I hadn’t bothered, has this happened before? Thank you in advance.
