I would like to have my teeth whitened

Q. I would like to have my teeth whitened. I have two 3 unit bridges, one on either side of my mouth, both on the upper teeth. Can these be whitened? or would these need to be protected before whitening the other teeth?

A. Porcelain is not affected by whitening and the bridges will not change colour.  Tooth whitening only works on your natural teeth so if you have it done you may want to have your bridges replaced.
