Hiya, im 21 and have recently noticed that my lower jaw goes to right. I never really noticed it until it was mentioned to me about 6 months ago. I have tried looking on the net but all i can find is info on overbites, and nothing regarding anyone with there jaw going to the right. Best regards

Is braces or jaw surgery good for overbites?

Hello! I have an underdeveloped lower jaw, which results as a level 3 overbite. (As I’m told by the orthodontist.) She recommended braces for me, to prepare for jaw surgery. I am hesitant at the mention of jaw surgery, and was wondering if my overbite could be fixed with just braces? As a contrast, my regular dentist if very much opposed to me having the jaw surgery, so I am faced with two very different opinions. I am a 16 year old female. Thank you!

Ive an overbite so could I get veneers instead of surgery

I have an overbite and my teeth are crooked, I had an appointment with an orthodontist and was told that I needed surgery to be . I’m 16 and somewhat scared of the surgery, but my dad also refuses to have surgery done on me. My question is: Could I get veneers instead of surgery I need to have my teeth straightened?

My front teeth are slightly crooked should i just get veneers to correct the crookedness?

My front teeth are slightly crooked – one crosses over the other. I also have some discolouration on one of my canine teeth. I’ve been to see an orthodontist who advised ceramic braces for 9-12 months, but I’m very worried about them being visible as it could affect my job. Should I just get veneers? Would they correct the crookedness? Apart from being sensitive my teeth are very healthy and I have a good bite.

Hi in 21 years old and i have an overbite of about 9mm iv been for a consultation at an orthodontist and he said that i will probably have to have some teeth taken out either side of my mouth and a brace fitted, i need to go back in in about 7 week to find out the cost and the treatment i can be offered, i was wondering if you can give me a ruff estimated of how much this will cost? and what type of braces do you think i will be given?
