Is its necessary to hv my fillings redone?

Hi there, I suffered from bulimia when I was 18 & 19, I’m now 36 and my 2 front teeth have several fillings caused by the bulimia. I’m happy with them at the moment, although the fillings did fall off and had to have them redone but my dentist has said that I should have crowns and that Lava crowns would be the best solution. He has said that I should have them on the front top 4 teeth. Is there a problem with me leaving it as I’m happy with the fillings and think that Lava means that I will have to have a lot of my real tooth filed down and think what is the point if it looks ok and isn’t really causing me too many problems.

Could you suggest the right brace with best results for cheapest plan?

Hi Dr, I’m a 26 year old female. I have buck tooth, I used to suck my thumb until a very late age. I wouldn’t say they are that bad but I would like to straighten my teeth. Obviously without looking you wouldn’t be able to tell me how long it will take. Maybe I should pop in for a consultation. I don’t have buckets loads of cash so am looking for the right brace with the best results. I’m saving my pennines now… well I need to buy my bed first then I’ll save after that! Do you have a flexi plan? Maybe not, just asking as some Dentistries do. I have Overjet, Open bite and a Misplaced midline. Regards

I m 19 Can I replace front big teeth with small ones

Hi, my front two teeth are a lot bigger than the rest, making them look odd. I was recently thinking about having them removed and having smaller ones in place, but obviously i need to know about the options available. Please could you reply providing information on any treatments that would be suitable. Can anything be done for gappy teeth in cosmetic dentistry?

Hi, I am 53 and had conventional orthodontic treatment to straighten my front teeth as a teenager. In recent years, my front teeth have started to move forwards and have gaps. I initially looked into orthodontic treatment but was told that it was unlikely to be successful due to ‘getting long in the tooth’. Is there anything by way of cosmetic dentistry that could done?

For how long I need to have retainer?

Hi, I’m four days into an Inman Aligner (upper only) and I’ve been told that I will need a retainer once the treatment is complete. How long will the retainer need to be worn? I’ve read somewhere that the it will need to be used for life. Many thanks.

I m 51,should I undergo jaw joint replacement operation?

I am due to have a jaw joint replacement op later this year. I am 51 years old and have undergone many surgeries mainly to my spine. For some reason this surgery scares me and I am feeling reluctant to go through with it. Could you plz advice whether root treatment can reduce the pain?

Hi I had an accident on ll5 and a porcellain crown above I feel it trapped a nerve I had tooth removed and the pain went to ll4 strange….. Symptoms are: sucking sound, toxins, blockked ear and a popping ear on the swallow..nothing on xray or mri I would like to know if root treating the ll4 would help as it is sensitive to hot and cold drinks I don’t think it’s tmj as get toxins in mouth can you help me?
