Should i need to wear braces for 2 year to close a 4 inch gap between my front teeth any advice

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009
Q.
Dr dentist, i am having brace in two week time beacuse of a 4 inch gap between my front teeth and 2 inch my bottom. when i visited my orthodontist he made it clear, he cannot close my front teeth gap completely but he can close it slightly because from his own view , if he closes it completely my teeth will look weird . (because of other patients experience) from this i feel quite disappointed because my main aim of the entire treatment is to sort out the gap before i go uni in the next two years. for this i have intended to urge him that id like the gap to close completely but before, i would like to know what you think about this decision and also i’m meant to wear the braces for twoyears which seems quit a long time just to close a 4 inch gap slight not completely, i just dont understand. any advice would be appreciated. thankx

im 15 and i have 3mm diameter gap between my front teeth and is the treatment free on nhs

Saturday, May 30th, 2009
Q.
Dr Rob Tennet I had a large gap inbetween my top two front teeth which I had braces fitted on the NHS. This tretment continued for about 10 months then I wore a “night retainer” for a while yet I cannot remember the length but I went through 2 diffrent ones as they had “worn out”. Yet since being told I no longer needed to wear it my front gap has returned although it has remained smaller than before due to a fretescamy operation(removal of large muscle above front incisors). I now the gap is still fairly large with about 3mm diameter. Will I be able to return to the orthodontist without needing to pay for the teeth to be corrected as my family will struggle to afford them? Any advice or information will be gladly appreciated. Many thanks  (Curretly 15 going on 16 years old)

what could a dentist do to fill the small triangular gap between my to front teeth

Saturday, May 30th, 2009
Q.
I have a small triangular gap between my to front teeth and I think it looks very unattractive. What could a dentist do to fill the small hole? I have read articles on the internet about bondings and fillings but I don’t really know what they are. Also if the gap was to be filled, would the use of a needle or braces be needed? Thanks in Advance.

My three year old son has lost his front teeth is there anything be done to save the tooth?

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009
Q.
Hello, I am writing to you regarding my three year old son. About two weeks ago he banged his front teeth on the side of the bath and now one of the teeth has lost all of it’s whiteness and gone dark gray. Our dentist says the tooth will have to come out but I would dearly like to get a second opinion on whether the tooth can be saved (I have read on the Internet about something called a pulpotomy?). I suppose what I am asking is can anything be done to save the tooth and make it look normal again and where can I go to get this done? I live in the north west of England, but would obviously travel to get the problem fixed properly. Many thanks for your time Best regards
