I have asked my dentist if the 6 caps can be replaced as they are showing the metal at the top of my gums, they have said that the posts are very big and their is a chance that the roots can break, Is their any thing that can be done, I have also got 5 teeth missing lower left, I have tried to wear the denture, it makes me gag, I have problems eating with them, can this be sorted out, And if so what can be done and what would the cost of this approx be.

Hello, I have slightly protruding top front teeth. I would like to know if I could get veneers or crowns to make them look straight. I have tried orthodontics last year and they was only partially straightened and already they are starting to go back to there orinal position. Thankyou for any help on this matter

I had a crown fitted on my back tooth about 6 weeks ago and already it is black on the gum margin why as i am very careful with my oral hygiene what cani do to get rid of it. Thank You

Good morning, Please can you give me some advice. My 2 front teeth have crowned. Originally I was pleased with the result of my crowns when they were fitted 4 years ago. The colour was perfect, and they looked like my teeth before I chipped them playing sport. But as I am getting older, my gums are shrinking so you can see the top of the crown (very unsettling) & they are not as white as my other teeth either. Would you recommend new crowns or vaneers? bearing in mind, I want them to look as real as possible. Thank you for your time

I had a gold crown removed that had been with me since 1952……and decay was underneath……dentist drille for temporary crown…..i am awaiting the permanent crown. that was a week ago….three days ago, i had dental work done on the opposite side……peridontal …planing and scaling….. for three days, i have been troubled with pain in the upper jaw above the crown…(the crown is in lower jaw)…i am quite uncomfortable. is this natural? perhaps the crown is not level with the upper teeth and causing pressure??? help! thanks,

What is a screw in tooth ? I have a denture on a plate for a missin front tooth . My dentist wont do a bridge on nhs but says he will do a screw in tooth . Are these cosmetically awful ?

Tooth that was crowned 2 years ago is now paining

I had a crwon put on one of my back teeth about 2 years ago. It has been a little sensitive to temperature over the last 2 years but nothing too terrible. Last night I awoke with a toothache, it kept me awake until I took some ibuprofen. It subsides and I went back to sleep. However, it has been hurting me all day today. It has given me a headche and my jaw hurts. I have taken aspirin this tima and it did not work enough to ease any pain. I have just signed up for new dental insurance that will kick in in January but I don’t know if I can subdue tha pain for one month. What do you think it could be?

4 weeks ago i had a crown replaced on my front tooth which my dentist said i needed as the post had broke , he made a new crown but took away a lot more of my root dont know why , i am very unhappy with the new crown as it over laps the tooth next to it and has left me with a gap in between my front teeth which i never had before, my old crown which i had for 27 years was ok fit
