Hi Dr. Patel. I live in Chicago, Illinois and I’ve been going to various dentist looking for help for my small gap in my two front teeth. I refuse to get braces and I’m trying to stay in my cost range. A friend of mine got her two front teeth bonded togther in the front. she said it was called a composite. I would like a composite as well. She said it only took about 30 mins. Any suggestion for me?,

I 27 and looking to have implants and Lumineers/Veneers dental work abroad. I want to be an informed consumer but im thralling through blogs, forums and websites in order to research a reputable dental practice and the only reviews I can find are of countries and not individual practices. I have posted questions myself but the editor will always take out the name of the company I am asking about. Could my doctor refer me for cosmetic dentistry treatment?

Hello Dr, I wondered if you could please provide me some advice? I have very uneven teeth at the front of my mouth, the top 4 are all very squint and this has given me a severe self image complex for years. I never smile with my mouth open, I’m scared to speak to people normally without putting my hand over my mouth. I also have a disorder called Borderline Personality Disorder, which doesn’t help me with my self esteem, and the image I have of myself. I don’t have the money to have cosmetic dentistry done, but I wondered if my Doctor could refer me for cosmetic dentistry to be done on my teeth. Because one of my tooth is so prudruding, it has also began to rot and looks terrible. I could get it filled at the dentist, but I just wondered if i could be referred for cosmetic dentistry instead? I’m happy with my white fillings, what do you suggest?

I am an NHS patient, I have white fillings in my two front teeth at the top, due to the enamil being ripped off when my fixed braces were removed as a kid, since then I have been brushing my teeth away, I am very unhappy with the feel ( they are lumpy)and colour (darker than my real teeth) of my teeth i have spoken to my dentist about it but he dismisses me and says I will have to pay private if I want it fixing – I wore braces for three years in my teens, Is this true that I will have to pay private or suffer his patch up?,
