my teeth are genually ok, i just have concern that the two front teeth are beginning to stick out. i had a brace on in my early teens, is there anything else you could recommand rather than a brace – as its looking to be rather expensive, considering the risk they may move again in the future. thank you

Is a brace the best option for protruding teeth?
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011Is surgery necessary on my anterior open bite?
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011I have had braces since September 2010 due correctdion of an open bite. I have only recently suffered with an open bite, the last 2 years, I am now 40 years of age. My Maxillofacial surgeon and Orthodontist are working towards me have surgery to resolve my open bite, whereby a part of my upper jaw bone is removed each side. I have had various tests to find the cause of this but have found nothing. Is the jaw surgery necessary or could my problem be related to my jaw joints not fitting together any longer and that’s where the problem has occurred?
Thanks
Should I get my tooth reshaped or have orthodontic treatment to improve my smile?
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 Hi,
I was looking for a bit of advice. I live in Belfast and had braces when I was about 14. After getting the braces removed my teeth moved again back to a slight overbite and crookedness which I think might have been because of a lack of a retainer. I am 23 now and looking for a straighter smile. Would braces work for me with already having teeth removed for previous brace? Also I heard about teeth and gum reshaping and wondered if that would be beneficial to me. Basically I am a bit confused and wondering if an orthodontist is the way to go or is a tooth and gum reshaping option better. Thank you for any help you can provide

How can I close gaps in my smile?
Tuesday, March 1st, 2011As a child my dentist extracted several teeth leaving me with large gaps which I hate. As I get older I’m finding my confidence is getting worse and am desperate to do something. I have thought about invisalign but don’t know how ling the treatment would take. I did buy some teeth bands on the Internet and if I wear one all night it does close the gap in my front teeth. But when I take it off the gap opens again in minutes. I’ve considered knocking my teeth out and having dentures. I feel that low. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My fang teeth overlap, what can I do about this?
Tuesday, March 1st, 2011The ttooth either side of my two front teeth (Fang teeth ) have always slightly overlapped my front teeth and as a youngster I should have had a brace. I am now 45 and these fangs are now gradually twisting and lifting. My dentist says if it were removed, That the gap left would mean an implant that would be smaller than my actual teeth so would not be recommended. Any ideas
