How can I close gaps in my smile?

Q.
As a child my dentist extracted several teeth leaving me with large gaps which I hate. As I get older I’m finding my confidence is getting worse and am desperate to do something. I have thought about invisalign but don’t know how ling the treatment would take. I did buy some teeth bands on the Internet and if I wear one all night it does close the gap in my front teeth. But when I take it off the gap opens again in minutes. I’ve considered knocking my teeth out and having dentures. I feel that low. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like braces or replacing the gaps with dental implants might be your best option. Why not visit a dentist and see what they say.

I have really gappy front teeth as I never had lateral incisors. My wisdom teeth at the top has already emerged. What are my best options for closing the gaps?

Are their any downsides to using bands in order to close a small front gap.

They might not create a very stable long term result
