I am having a lot of pain after my oral surgery. Is this a normal thing?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
I had a sinus lift 8 days ago… I am still have severe pain in my inner cheek area with less pain in the surgical area… I went back to the oral surgeon yesterday due to the cheek pain – he deadened my mouth (of course in the cheek area where all my pain is) with shots being so unbearable I was shaking… Long story short he saw no infection or any problems any where? He was very confused as to why I was still in such pain. Like I said the pain is 90% in my inner left cheek. Have u ever heard of this??,

My daughter’s tooth has been knocked out and I am worried other children will laugh at her. Can a kind of retainer be worn to cover it?

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010
Q.
Hi there, my 3 year old daughter has fallen and knocked out one of her front teeth, I know nothing can be done with her original tooth and obviously know nothing can be done on a permanent basis but is there and kind of retainer she can wear to bridge the gap, I am worried about other children laughing at her, its really noticable. Thanks, Gerri,

My back tooth is almost completely broken, but is it necessary to have it removed or fixed?

Monday, September 20th, 2010
Q.
My back tooth has almost completel broken, i though a bit of it had broken off but i noticed today that it is sharp and pointy like the majority of it has come off. I didnt feel any pain when any of this was happening. As it is at the very back of the top of my mouth, you cant see it from smiling etc, would it be okay to just have it removed?,

Where can I find an experienced dental surgeon to help with gum grafts?

Friday, September 10th, 2010
Q.
I have gum recession across all my teeth (upper and lower). I would seriously like to consider gum grafts – for cosmetic reasons – to treat 3-4 of the worst teeth. How do I find out the reputable and experienced dental surgeons in the UK and will they perforn surgery for purely cosmetic reasons?,

Would Lumineers be a good option if I wanted to widen my smile?

Friday, September 10th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I would like to widen my smile and show my teeth more. My teeth are straight and in good health so I am not so keen on having veneers as it seems quite invasive. I am interested in having Lumineers, do you perform this procedure and would it help achieve the results I am looking for? Also, can teeth be made longer using Lumineers? How much does it cost per tooth to have Lumineers? Thanks,
