Would Lumineers be a good option if I wanted to widen my smile?

Q. Hi, I would like to widen my smile and show my teeth more. My teeth are straight and in good health so I am not so keen on having veneers as it seems quite invasive. I am interested in having Lumineers, do you perform this procedure and would it help achieve the results I am looking for? Also, can teeth be made longer using Lumineers? How much does it cost per tooth to have Lumineers? Thanks,
A. lumineers is a trade name for a market leader in top end ceramics veneers. Other systems like emax, empress and DaVinci are also in the same bracket. Their material strength and method of manufacure mean that you can make them thinner and finish the margins to a feather edge once cemented. This means that they can be used as no drill, but some lumineer cases still involve tooth reduction to improve the end result. They should in general last longer. We guarantee all ceramics for 5 years and hope for > 10 years for all. I expect pressable ceramics to last longest. Our dentists are all accredited Lumineer providers and you will receive a official warranty card on completion. Guide price for this type of veneerr is £700-850 per tooth . Typical treatments involve enlighten tooth whitening of both arches prior to veneering. the front 8 upper teeth only is more common than both upper and lower. Interest free credit / finance is available If you would like a free initial consultation at StJohns Dental Birmingham we will provide recommendations to maximise the result in your case. 0121 643 0610 Regards Rob
