My root treatment has caused me to wake up twice in the night in agony. What can I do?

Q. I underwent root treatment on Wednesday 15th Sept and last night was the second night i have woke up during the night in absolute agony! I have been taking the strongest painkillers i can possibly take over the counter every 4 hours. Any advice i could get would be very helpfull!! thanks,
A. You need to go back to your dentist to get him to check it out as it sounds like there is still infection present
