I had dental crown for my top front two teeth

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009
Q.
I had dental crown for my top front two teeth before. They had been 12 years. For some reasons and the policy of the dental insurance, I recently have had partial dentures for that two teeth. I have been feeling difficulites to chew the food and dentures would fall out themselves. The metal frame of the dentures makes me feel not comfortable all the time. I am so regret to have this surgery. Should I talk to the dentist about the issue of the dentures and Is there any way I can do if I want a treatment of dental crown? Thank you for your advices.

I wear an upper denture at the moment and aged 31

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008
Q.
Hi there I wear an upper denture at the moment, and aged 31 this isnt ideal. I have looked into dental implants before but have been advised twice now that I have so little bone underneath the gum that I will need bone grafts taken from my hip. Im not too sure that I want bone taken from anywhere else and also the £40k price tag will also be an issue for me. I am at the stage now where I am not even leaving the house, and when Im taking the children to school, I dont even step out of the car. I am on anti-depressants longterm due to this also. It is significantly affecting my life and I’m investigating every area of hope at the moment. I already can feel how loose my denture has become recently and know I am on borrowed time with those, so really am desperate. Any advice you could give me would be fantastic. Many thanks x

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008
Q.
Two days ago i had my nerve taken out of my bottom front tooth. A temparary partial N.H.S denture has been made for me to wear for three months, until i have a bridge made. I have been very upset, as i cannot keep the denture in my mouth for more than one minute without gagging. Can this be a mind set or a badly made denture.I have had it altered once already. PLease help and advise. I have a big birthday event happening this Saturday.
