I have had gum recession for years and am very long in the tooth! I also have lost teeth but thankfully not front ones. Can I get my smile back with porcelain teeth, will I have to have painful surgery or will I just have to have false teeth. I would travel to England for treatment

should i have my tooth extracted and implant on same day

Dear Dr Suri I have a cracked molar in the lower jaw that requires extraction. I wish to have an implant so my question concerns what type of implant and procedure I should choose. Is it better to opt for a conventional implant and have it done at the time of extraction? – or – Extract the tooth and wait for the bone to grow back, then have a self tapping implant that doesn’t require drilling? kind regards

how long do lumineers last

Hi Komal, I really want to get my teeth sorted out, had a real bodge job done on my front tooth when I was 10 jumoed into a pool and it split in half the bond has discoloured and is so not cemetrical, so I think I would want perhaps the Lumineers on my 2 front teeth then the rest of my mouth bleached white, can you give me a rough estimate of how much I am looking at getting this done as I have no idea, 1 dentist said something like 800 per tooth to Lumineer and another is saying 450 I just wnat a realistic price for the whole job (estimate) so I can thing about having a consultation. Everyone I know says how I have a great smile and so happy but I would like to have a pretty white smile as its not at the moment it knocks my confidence bigtime. Also how long do the Lumineers last on average and is there any special treatment I will need to give them after the surgery? I look forward to hearing from you

My front four teeth are porcelain crowns. I have been told that two of the crowns are infected and root canal treatment is required. Most of the literature available on this treatment refers to side teeth and does not explain how this treatment is undertaken to front teeth which are already crowned.

is the damon brace treatment effective

My son is 11 yrs old and has crowded teeth, unaligned jaw – a complex case and has been recommended Damon Braces treatment. I want to find out in the long term, when wisdom teeth start to come out, after Damon treatment, is there any space left for them in the mouth? Also how effectve is the Damon treatment – do teeth start to go back after 10-12 yrs or not?
