I’m Concerned That My Root Treatment Will Expose My Crowns. What Happens If I Don’t Have The Treatment?

Hi Andrew, I’d like your advice. I have always visited my NHS dentist regularly. Yet, after seeing a specialist, I have been told that I need root service debridement. I am very concerned about this. Will the treatment damage/expose my crowns and if I don’t have it, what other options do I have? And what will result be without the treatment? Also can I be sure that this will extend my teeth? I have 4 crowns at the top in the front and also at the bottom. Apparently the ones at the bottom are not so bad. I am concerned that the crowns at the top will look too much like crowns. Hello Dr Moore, I need your help. My top back tooth has just started to disintegrate. Yet, I am off on 2 mission works on Saturday to Africa where it is obviously not advisable to get dental treatment. I doubt I will be able to get any treatment in this country before I go and considering that Monday is a bank holiday – Can you suggest anything that will keep me going? There is no pain at the moment but I’m starting to worry that it will cause long term problem if I don’t get it seen too in time. Thank you for your time.

Hi Andrew. I have had dental issues for many years and at my last appointment I was told that my teeth will fall out sooner rather than later (apparently my gums are not so healthy). That was about 9 months ago and I am yet to lose any teeth. I want to replace all my teeth with new ones so that I am able to progress in the entertainment industry. Hello Dr Moore. I hope that you can help me out. I would like to know how much it costs to have tooth bonding, for gap closure between front two teeth for a 3mm gap? I have had a brace in the past but it didn’t work properly due to my age I think, I’m 26 years old and I just want  to experience a nice smile for once. Do you think this treatment can help me?

Hi Dr Moore. I need your help. My lower left and lower right central incisors have moved back and it looks awful. I had braces for 3 years a while ago and I was meant to wear a retainer, but it slowly stopped being worn. And my teeth have slowly moved out of place. I’m 21 and I really want it sorted. Do you know how much it would roughly cost and is there a way to fix it without having a mouth full of metal? Also I would like to know the cheapest and most effective way possible to fix it. I Feel That I Am Too Old To Wear Fixed Braces. Is There An Alternative?

Hello Dr Moore. My two front teeth are twisted and spaced. As I lived in West Africa, it was very difficult to find a very good dentist. I have tried on several occasions but to no avail. As my front teeth are twisted, I cannot smile for long because I feel too embarrassed to expose them. Please help and advise me. One of the dentists that I visited said it cannot be rectified without braces because the structure of the teeth in my gum. Yet, I feel am too old to wear braces for Two years. He put the broken bit back in, but has lost that part now. He is 65 years old. Can he get this fixed or repaired? Hello Andrew. I hope you can help me with my enquiry. At a young age I had a eating disorder, I would throw up everything I would eat for over Four years, with the help and love of my parents and friends I over came this, but now I notice that with so much throwing up that I was doing, I made a gap between my two front teeth, it isn’t big but I don’t like it how much would it be? Hello Andrew, I’m 20 years old and have awful teeth. They are broken, chipped badly and I have teeth missing I am really self concious about smiling, laughing and it’s really affecting my social life as I don’t like to leave the house. I am also on a budget as I have 2 young children. I really want my teeth sorting out so I can gain the self esteem and confidence a young 20 year old should have.
