Could veneers fix teeth that look too small and space between two teeth?

Thursday, September 16th, 2010
Q.
I have a space inbetween my front two teeth and I find the rest of my teeth look to small for my mouth. Could this be helped with Veneers? Would this also be very expensive? Thanks,

Would Lumineers be a good option if I wanted to widen my smile?

Friday, September 10th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I would like to widen my smile and show my teeth more. My teeth are straight and in good health so I am not so keen on having veneers as it seems quite invasive. I am interested in having Lumineers, do you perform this procedure and would it help achieve the results I am looking for? Also, can teeth be made longer using Lumineers? How much does it cost per tooth to have Lumineers? Thanks,

I have been recommended veneers, but I’m unsure. Can you suggest a less invasive treatment?

Q.
I have calcium marks in both of my front teeth, the right one has broken. I am thinking about having them repaired and have been recommended porcelain veneers on both, I am concerned that this is very extreme for what are essentially good teeth. Do you have any suggestions for a less invasive cosmetic repair?,

Q.
Hi Kailesh I wonder if you could help? I had bridgework and veneers fitted approximately three years ago. The insurance is just about to come to an end but I can’t seem to find dental insurance that will cover the cost of cosmetic work. Can you help me please?,

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010
Q.
Hi there, i have a gap, a fairly big one. I’ve wanted to close it for some time and has plumeted my self-esteem to the point where i watch what i say becuase it makes me feel insecure. I really don’t like it and is tearing me apart. I don’t want braces because they’re painful and take alot of time. I wanted to know What’s the veneers process about and if there’s any other way i could go about this. if the treatment does cost money i want to know how much. Thank you for your time.,

Is it possible to veneer teeth which have got fillings?

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010
Q.
I am looking to have some cosmetic work done on my teeth. I am not sure what would be the best procedure – i have had a couple of fillings on my front teeth which are somewhat discouloured – I was thinking veneers but wasn’t sure if it is possible to veneer teeth that have got fillings? It would mainly be the top 8 teeth I think as the are relatively straight and white. what would be best ?,

Can you suggest a treatment that can move my teeth back into place as quickly as possible?

Monday, September 6th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr Solanki, I am getting married in November and I had braces approx 4 years ago, but after having specifically requested from my dentist a wire to be attached to the back of my teeth, my dentist refused and told me a retainer was much more effective. Unfortunately I did not wear my retainer as I should have as I was in a customer facing job so my teeth have moved slightly – and mainly the front 2 which is really bothering me. I am wondering if there is any way of having a plate or similiar constructed to push the teeth back into place, it really is quite minor as when I put my retainer back it only has about 3mm gap from stopping it clicking back into place. Can you please suggest any methods that would assist before November other than veneers? Many thanks,

My dentist cemented my veneer into my normal tooth and it’s now very sensitive. Do you have any advice?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
Hi. i had 2 veeners fitted to my front teeth last July. In january i broke one of them i had an impression done and a new one fitted but since i experience pain in it sometimes. A week a go it fell off i went to my dentist and she sent it to lab to be etched, she cemented it back today but for some reason without asking me she cemented it to my veener next to it and my normal tooth on the other side, she said it was to make it stronger. im finding it quite diffucult to eat and drink and it pulls when i do to try eat. is there anything you can tell me as to why she would do it or why im experiencing sensitivity and diffuculty eating?,
