Are there any whitening treatments that would work on naturally yellow teeth?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
Hi. is there any whitening treatments that would work on naturally yellow coloured teeth. I was thinking of getting Veneers or Lumineers to cover up the yellow colour but I was told that they would eventually match the original colour of your teeth is this true ??,

I needed veneers after a freak accident. I am not happy with the results and would like to know if I can claim back my money?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
hello….in a freak accident I hit my front teeth with a silver ring( i am a jeweller ) so the edge of both front teeth were shattered. The dentist I went to did Cerec veneers I thought this would be a solution to my problem little did I realise it was only the beginning. After the veneers were fitted six in total , to my amazement I had acquired buck teeth as if this were not enough the two front teeth were of different thickness very odd useless for biting with! :/ Non of the other teeth seemed to follow the original curve of my own teeth .My dentist claimed that having veneers made in the lab would solve these issues, not so I had these fitted on wednesday 15th september and my front teeth are still the same lenght as they were granted without the briken edge but I did stress the impotrance of the fact that the length had to be addressed don’t know why but the overall look when I smile well makes the mouth look old!? I have lost faith in this dentist and would rather have another to fix redo my teeth do I have any claim to monies paid £2,400 for the 6 front teeth ??,

Would veneers help my receding gums?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
Hello Dr Moore, My dentist and hygenist have both told me I have receeding gums, and I’ve noticed, particularly in the last year, how the gaps at the top of my upper teeth appear much darker as if I’ve got bits of food in them. Would veneers be suitable in my case, or would the fact that my gums are receeding mean that they wouldn’t look good for as long?,
