I have a stained front tooth and am considering having veneers but I have been advised to have bonding instead. What is bonding and would this help a stained tooth. If so is it better than veneers?

I am 51 years old and have one false tooth denture, front bottom left and in the last six months gaps have started appearing between my teeth.

Hello! I have wanted a smile makeover for a while now. My teeth are healthy (I’m 28) but I have a tooth missing – the one next to my front tooth. The gap has closed as my mouth is crowded but my smile is lobsided and the middle of my front teeth doesn’t line up with the middle of my lip! Are there any procedures you recommend? I am 20 years old I have a very crowded mouth and have had quite a few teeth out in the past and I had a brace when I was in high school, at the time my dentist said my teeth would never be perfectly straight from a brace, they have moved quite alot since having the brace out and my bite is a very triangular shape, I work in the hairdressing industry and my teeth have always got me down and even more so now. Is it worth replacing my front two teeth with veneers, can this work even with a crowded mouth? thanks for your time.

I had braces when I was younger and the top retainer was removed soon after my braces were removed. Both my upper lateral incisors point inwards and this looks rather unsightly and I have been told that my roots are short and that further orthodontic treatment would not be adviseable.
Is there anything I can do to improve this?
I want treatment but have been told I need jaw surgery, is this necessary?

Hi Mark,
I am looking to get some crowns or veneers and a fixed bridge. I have been to see a few dentists and two said they could do the work that i require but the other dentist said she is unable to do the work because i have a straight bite. She said that jaw surgery is my only option. I wanted to clarify whether i can have the treatment i require instead of having surgery to correct my bite. I really do not want to have surgery on my jaw.
