Should I replace two front teeth with veneers to straighten my smile?

Q.
I am 20 years old I have a very crowded mouth and have had quite a few teeth out in the past and I had a brace when I was in high school, at the time my dentist said my teeth would never be perfectly straight from a brace, they have moved quite alot since having the brace out and my bite is a very triangular shape, I work in the hairdressing industry and my teeth have always got me down and even more so now. Is it worth replacing my front two teeth with veneers, can this work even with a crowded mouth? thanks for your time.
A.
Dear Enquirer,
It may be a possiblility to have veneers to correct a crowded mouth, but it is usual to have multiple teeth veneered, so the teeth can be shaped correctly. If you only have 2 veneers placed, you may not get the correct end result as they may look too narrow. You may need 4 or 8 veneers to create a beautiful end result, but please seek out a cosmetic dentist who can help you make the right choice.
