Hello, My new dentist is suggesting replacing and extending a root canal that was done several years ago before she applies a crown to the dead tooth, as x-rays show it doesn’t go the full length of the root and is a little uneven. It’s never caused me problems in the 16+ years I’ve had it, but she says it might be a good idea to give the crown a better foundation, but the choice is mine – what’s the wisest decision to make?
