Q. I have previously had root canal treatment by my former dentist. I have now joined a different dentist who has informed me that the root canal treatment needs to be redone as the prvious treatment did not go down to the tip/ bottom of the root. Please can you tell me if this is normal? Can you also tell me how long a root canal treatment should last for.
