Since my root canal and implant i have suffered bone loss and a lot of pain for 10 years

Q. 10 years ago i had 2 crowns put on my 2 front teeth and have been in constant pain ever since. The dentist did a root filling then a apicectomy then replaced the crowns but nothing worked i went for a second opinion with a maxifacial surgeon who did another root filling it did not work so i had a implant after replacing the crowns again the pain is constantly throbbing i also now get jaw ache and my bite does not feel right i had a ct scan and have been told i have lost a lot of bone and will need a bone graft but he cant say if it will work.I dont know what to do i feel as if i will be in pain with my teeth forever.

A. This is very difficult tp predict especially if you have seen a specialist about the problem. It might be worth seeing the specialist again as the pain could be coming from somewhere else especially since it didnot go when the tooth was removed. It might be worth ruling out the possibility of a condition know as trigeminal neuralgia this can cause facila pain unrelated to the teeth.
