I think my root canal treatment has caused pain on my left-side and audio transmission, does that sound plausible?

Monday, March 14th, 2011
Q.

hello. I am living in the Uk and have been having some problems with my current dentistry. ever since I got a root canal done I experience extreme pain on my left side, involuntary winking and closing of eyes, jerking of limbs, and have even heard what sounds like an audio transmission of some kind. Is there anyway that my dental work could cause all this? thank u.

I had a bridge fitted nine months ago and I am in constant pain, what should I do?

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011
Q.

Hi, I had a bridge fitted nearly 9 months ago and have not had one day with either discomfort or pain. I have had extensive root treatment to the two teeth either side of the gap. I cannot cope with this pain any longer and am nearly at the point of having the bridge taken out (if the dentist I was referred to is happy to do this). I keep asking myself if this is the right thing (as this has been very expensive and painful) to do as I am convinced that there was nothing wrong with the two exisiting teeth but there’s something ‘wrong’ with the bridge itself. Could it be the bridge itself causing the problems or is the pain from existing teeth/crowns?

Thanks.

I am in massive pain after veneers, what should I do?

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011
Q.

I had crown lengthening procedure on 10 teeth followed by 10 porcelain veneers. I researched at length my chosen dentist and spent 9 months preparing with him prior to surgery and preparations. My crown lengthening was fine. My horrific pain started after first preparation. I have been in constant pain since July. My final veneers were fitted 6 weeks ago and look great. I have taken neuron round the clock and can both eat/drink hot/cold or chew as the pressure is too painful. My dentist has x-rayed and varnished with no results. My whole upper set of teeth throb at night. He is suggested removing two molar veneers to explore as he believes there could be leakage and referred pain. I have lost all confidence and I am reluctant to allow any further work without a second opinion. Please help as I am absolutely terrified of a lifetime of this pain. I do not know what to do or who to consult as I thought I had chosen the most qualified person in my area. Yours in anticipation.

I recently got a new bridge and I am in extreme pain, what should I do?

Tuesday, February 8th, 2011
Q.

I recently had a replacement bridge. I still have the temp bridge and am awaitng the permanent bridge. I am in great pain. I returned to the dentist to have him check the temp. he said the pain was due to the inproper fit of the temp and would go away when the perm. bridge is cemented in place. Is this true? I am dying here, living off of ibupropen/tylenol. Thanks
